For Those of You Who Don't Know...

For those of you who don't know who  I am or haven't talked to me recently my name is Kylie Pieper. I recently got married four months ago to the the love of my life Paul Pieper in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity.
We've been married for a little over four months now and we are loving the married life! The first three months I have to admit were hard, having your husband go to school while you stay at home with little to do and a job where you only work three days of every month makes you go a little crazy but I found things to keep me preoccupied. Crafts became my way out of boredom.

Seriously, decorating, crafts, jewelry making, scrap booking kept me sane for the 3 long months and the D. I. became my hangout. I now consider myself not quite professional, yet not a beginner, at thrift store shopping and find myself thinking a lot lately about all the cool stuff I might be able to find if I go to D.I. on any given day.

For the week break between semesters Paul and I went with his sister and her husband, Hannah and Nic, to a cabin for a little get away. It was really fun, though it was in Island Park it was still a bit cold it was nice to get away from the world for a little bit and relax before a hectic semester of college. We had a campfire, took little walks, tried to fish, played games, made delicious desserts, went to West Yellowstone and took a bike ride. It was really fun but all too soon school was back in session for Paul and me.

Oh, I almost forgot to say that I convinced Paul to get me a bunny for Easter so here's our little bunny, Max, who has probably doubled in size now and is quite the little rascal sometimes.
Paul has been trying to get in every bit of fishing he can so as soon as we got home from the cabin in he went fishing and caught a BIG OL' TROUT! I have tried to fish a little bit and its not as bad as I thought but it is definitely more of Paul's hobby. I had a good time spending time with him and eating that delicious fish!
Well, school is back in session and it's been pretty good so far. Life has had its challenges and school is definitely the biggest for me right now. However, I am excited to educate myself and to be able to acquire the skills necessary to become an elementary school teacher!

Here's just a fun picture of Paul and I... it makes me laugh every time I look at it!

  1. So excited to read your blog! Can't wait to see more posts in the future too! I LOVE the mustache pic! That is awesome! Cherish the days that you have lots of time on your hands. I look back on those days and wish I would have made more crafts and things like you! :) Now I want to make them but can never seem to find the time...or by then I am too tired. LOL!

  2. Love this! Lucy says about the above picture, "They're silly!" I agree. ;)You will have to teach me how to do crafts because I like doing them, but feel less than adequate. Check out our blog sometime and I have links to a bunch of other people's (Rach, Ben, Beck, etc.). So glad you are doing this!
